The School of Medicine in English started in 1994 as an integral part of the Faculty of Medicine.
The School of Medicine in English, JUMC offers two courses-
- 4-year program for graduates of pre-medical college/university program
- 6-year program for graduates of secondary schools
Upon graduation, students are conferred Doctor of Medicine (MD) by Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Medicine.
Both the courses focus on theoretical scientific learning and clinical training of the medical international students in Poland.
In the final year of the course, students get the opportunity of completing an elective rotation in various medical institutes in Poland, Europe, Canada and across the world.
School of Medicine in English, JUMC has many university teaching hospitals in different countries where medical graduates can apply for medical residency and postgraduate training programs.
Applicants are selected at the School of Medicine in English, JUMC on the basis of a personal interview, entrance exam, past academic records and MCAT or GAMSAT score.
Practical classes of this medical course, Poland are conducted in The University Hospital, Children’s University Hospital, Orthopedic-Rehabilitation University Hospital and University Dental Clinic.
